Drew Aaron–Entrepreneur, Art Collector, and Founder of Gallery RED & Lionsgate Capital

Drew Aaron is a globally recognized entrepreneur, investor and art collector whose career spans industries from global commodities and finance to high-end real estate and contemporary art.

Born in Philadelphia, Drew sold his first internet startup to eBay in the late 1990s, just before graduating from Boston University with a degree in Corporate Communications and Business Economics. Drew began his professional journey in 1998 in international paper trading, co-founding The Aaron Group of Companies in 2001 with Gene Aaron. Under their leadership, The Aaron Group became one of the world's larget privately held paper companies, operating across six continents. in 2017, the company formed a strategic partnership with Konica Minolta, and it continues to thrive today, sharing offices with Indicia Worldwide.

Simultaneously, Drew built a papallel career in real estate, acquiring and restoring prime properties in New York City, the Hamptons, and Connecticut-including North Court in Greenwich and Seagram's Creek, the former estate of billionaire Edgar Bronfman Sr. Modern Painters Magazine included Aaron in the top 50 under 50 art collectors in the world. His various homes and art collections have been featured in different international publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest.

His passion for design and development led him to chief executive roles with at firms such as Marc Cunningham Inc, SHVO and Studio Dror, where he managed high-end projects across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. In New York, he also founded The Aaron Gallery, an art advisory that placed blue-chip contemporary works in notable collections and partnered with the luxury concept store Material Goods in SoHo and other locations.

Seeking a lifestyle change, Drew and his family relocated to Mallorca, Spain, in 2017 to raise his children in the countryside. He also maintains a home in Son Vida, located in the center of Palma.

In 2017 he founded Lionsgate Capital now Spain's largest financing firm for luxury real estate. Short after, he was approached to acquire a local art gallery—a venture he initially hesitated to pursue. Ultimately embracing the opportunity, Drew launched Gallery RED in 2018. The gallery grew rapidly, expanding to 10 gallery spaces and 18 exhibition spaces across Spain, including curated installation at the private airports in Mallorca and Ibiza, as well as the top 5 star hotels and properties. Today, Gallery RED is the leader of Contemporary Art in Spain and represents a bold fusion of luxury, innovation, and accessibility in contemporary art. Gallery RED represents top emerging global artists alongside blue-chip established artists, including Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Richter, Kusama, Murakami and Picasso.

Drew raises his children—Finn, Ella, and Stella—together with Czech supermodel Hana Soukopová. he splits his time between Spain, Paris, and the U.S.

A passionate philantropist and community leader, Drew has held board and executive commitee roles for organizations including the ASPCA, The Whitney Museum, FSC Council, DKMS, Unlock the Cure, New Yorkers for Children, and YPO Metro New York. In 2021 Aaron received an award from IE Business School in Madrid in recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements and for bringing innovation to Spain.

In 2022, Drew became a member of the board of directors of the Mallorca Preservation Foundation, the largest sustainability organization in the Balearic Islands, supporting the environmental protection of Mallorca.
